This week, as first reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s Victor Joecks, the campaign manager for Democrat candidate for Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall applauded Australia’s gun confiscation program.
Let that sink in for a moment.
The top political advisor to Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidate Kate Marshall took to social media this week to tout the Australian policy of confiscating firearms from law-abiding citizens. Presumably, with Kate Marshall’s full support.
This is simply astonishing and frightening.
Kate Marshall is already on record denouncing common-sense public safety reforms passed with bipartisan support that have protected the ability of law-abiding Nevadans to justifiably defend themselves and their property from criminals and prevented local governments from encroaching on that right. She actually characterized these policies, which were supported by both Republicans and Democrats, including Democratic Senator Majority Leader Aaron Ford and Democratic Senator Joyce Woodhouse, as “decimating our state’s gun safety measures”.
Now, with this latest pronouncement by her very own campaign manager, voters have the right to know: Will Kate Marshall work toward confiscating existing, privately owned firearms from Nevadans as Lieutenant Governor? If so, who does she plan on sending out, door-to-door, to confiscate firearms from peaceful, law-abiding Nevadans?
“Confiscate Kate” Marshall has already shown herself to be far out of the mainstream when it comes to gun control, and now, her campaign has somehow found a way to position itself as the most radical, anti-gun statewide campaign in Nevada history. Neither Harry Reid, Dina Titus, Jacky Rosen, Steve Sisolak nor Chris Giunchigliani have ever, to date, proposed a total gun confiscation policy in Nevada.
I need your help to stop Kate Marshall and her radical gun control agenda. Will you contribute today to put a stop to Confiscate Kate?
